  • Celebrates the10th Anniversary. Holds events: (Interior Design Conference / Exhibition / Commemorative Lecture Meeting / Commemorative publication of “Japan Interior Design 1.”)

  • The Corporate rights obtained and is called it self (becomes) “Japan Interior Designers’ Association (JID).”

  • Chubu Chapter was formed.

  • Supports ’73 Design Year’.
    Holds Interior Design Fair “Interior Image ’73 — Future Housing.”

  • JID joins International Federation of Interior Architects / Interior Designers (IFI).
1978
  • Celebrates the 20th Anniversary. (Holds Interior Design ’80 Fair “The Role of Design”. Publishes ‘Interior Map 500 TOKYO’. Holds Commemorative events.)

  • Commissioned by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry to promote Interior Design by holding the 1st Interior Industry Seminar.
1983
  • Celebrates the 25th Anniversary.
    Holds JID ’83 Fair “International Furniture Fair Tokyo”
1985
  • Holds JID ’85 Fair “Interior New Paradigm / Promotion From the East”.
1987
  • Publication of the IFI Year Book “WORLD-WIDE INTERIOR”.
1989
  • Celebrates the 30th Anniversary Events Holds The Exhibition of “Nagare” in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Kyushu. The title means “to Creative Living Environment for Coming the 21 Century”.

  • Hosts the 17th IFI General Assembly and Biennial World Congress Nagoya 1995, (IFI ’95 NAGOYA).

  • Participated in the IFI Symposium (NY) Joined IFI and IDA (International Design Alliance) *IDA is an alliance of 3 international groups; IFI (interior), Icsid (industrial design) and Icograda (graphic design) Kita (Chairperson of then JID) lectured at Taipei conference of IDA Directed the IDA world expo in Taipei Held a Kids Design workshop
